Practical Assistance

We supply 8 safe houses across the UK, that welcome individuals who have escaped from slavery. Some arrive with only the clothes they are wearing. The team at Their Voice put together specialized, tailormade packs based on the practical needs of the individual survivors. This need could range from a detailed care package for a newborn baby, to a bespoke clothes packs for adults; from a washing machine to a bicycle, specialist hair products to appropriate clothing for religious needs and much more.  When a need is identified we network resources and supplies in the local community and through our corporate partners to provide the necessary items for our survivors.

Our ethos is to customize our service for each individual we provide for; to help restore dignity, self-confidence and wellbeing. We passionately believe that each care package we make up is received and perceived as a gift and not a handout.  That is why we have projects like our welcome baskets of toiletries and a towel for each new survivour at the safehouses, hospital bags for expectant mothers, education rucksacks for children aged between 2 and 11 years of age, bespoke adult clothes packs, children clothes packs and our newborn packs for our little babies that come into our service.

We walk alongside our clients on their journey of recovery, creating new, positive memories and help clients rebuild their confidence and wellbeing.
