Empowering survivors of modern slavery
Their Voice is committed to working with and for survivors of modern slavery. Our mission is to empower, enable and give hope to them by providing practical and emotional support.
Hidden away in our towns, cities and countryside in the UK, thousands of men, women, and children are being forced into crime, sex, labour, marriage, and drug trafficking. The affects of this exploitation and abuse can be devastating and long-lasting, with those who survive potentially being left traumatised.
Since the Slavery Abolition Act 1833 came into force, slavery has been illegal in the UK following the freedom of all slaves, with the end of the Transatlantic Slave Trade in 1807. However, almost 200 years on, slavery still exists and is a hidden crime.

How we help
Practical Assistance
We supply 8 safe houses across the UK, that welcome individuals who have escaped from slavery. Some arrive with only the clothes they are wearing. The team at Their Voice put together specialized, tailormade packs based on the practical needs of the individual survivors.
Raising awareness
Part of our mission is to continue to raise awareness of the crime of modern slavery and human trafficking through various events, education and social media.
Call for donations
We are a small charity making a big impact. To enable us to provide the quality items needed for the men, women and children we support, we need your help.
